The Grade II* listed former Regent Palace Hotel in Piccadilly was converted to provide a mix of office, retail, residential and restaurant space around a central atrium. More than half of the hotel’s original façade was retained and repaired and significant sections of its exquisite Art Deco interiors restored and reinstated. Conservation of the buildings Art Deco interiors required the best in modern and traditional construction techniques.
Our scope included the restoration of the joinery to the areas of special interest – to document and record Grade II* listed joinery; to dismantle, repair, refurbish and reinstate. Installation of pre-finished timber/metal sash windows to the external façade.
