Ruddy manufactured, supplied and installed the bespoke IPS Panel Systems including all carcassing, support frames, mirrors, worktops (Corian and laminate) in over 400 different rooms such as patient ensuites , Theatre suites, ICU wash stations , Nurse station , WC areas.
Ruddy undertook to design and produce drawings to match the architect’s intent in Compact Grade Laminate to fulfil the requirements and regulation set into the latest Department of Health Standard and infection control to healthcare IPS requirements.
The IPS panel system manufactured and assembled by Ruddy to suit individual situations delivers a uniform, high quality finish to every complete panel system supplied, saving valuable time with a simple specification process and easy to install reducing on-site costs and the impact on the environment.

- Change the use of the existing building from Office to Residential Institutions category to provide a 200-bed hospital with eight operating theatres.
- Retain the majority of the existing structure and external face of the building.
- Reinstate the building’s original entrances by removing the unsightly and unfriendly ramps and stairs. This will enhance the architectural quality of the building with a sensitive renovation.
