SILVER FORS Certification

For the fourth consecutive year,  Ruddy has maintained FORS Silver accreditation.

FORS Bronze accreditation was first achieved in September 2013 with Silver accreditation awarded the following year .

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is an accreditation scheme encompassing all aspects of safety, fuel efficiency, vehicle emissions and improved operations. Its purpose is to raise the level of quality within fleet operations, and to demonstrate which operators are achieving the standard.

Maintaining Silver accreditation confirms that Ruddy employs good practice and comply with the requirements laid out by the FORS standard. By achieving FORS Silver accreditation the Ruddy fleet will be compliant also with the CLOCS Standard for Construction Logistics and with Transport for London’s WRRR (Work Related Road Risk).

All Ruddy fleet vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are fitted with specified safety features including , camera  & proximity warning systems . In addition side guards & audible left turn warning systems are included as part of the FORS accreditation.
